Mexico Caribbean Coast has become a top vacation destination in recent years.
What attracts most visitors to the area is the number of mega-resort properties that line Highway 307 from Cancun to Tulum, also known as the Riviera Maya. People are drawn to miles of beaches, turquoise sea, and can leave their wallets in the hotel safe for a week of all inclusive Caribbean vacation. Unfortunately, if you never leave the station, you lack experience of culture and beauty of the Mexican coast.
Playa del Carmen, once considered a small fishing village where backpackers and hippies pitched their tent on the beach, has now become a thriving, developing city. Playa, as it is called here, still has a charm that can not be located in Cancun hotel zone.About high up 40 miles south of Cancun, Playa del Carmen makes the location is an excellent place to establish the basis while exploring the rest of the Riviera Maya. Local suppliers around the square selling fresh fruit and homemade tamales, and sweets.
Accommodations range from youth hostels to luxury hotels, boutique. , Long Beach can be found in modern rooms with balcony in the Caribbean beach with palapas or loungers colorful hooked outside.If from store to Cancun a day, a bus from downtown Cancun to Playa bus station every 15 minutes.
