Eye Dotting Ceremony - The Chinese Lion Dance

Chinese lion dance is traditionally in China for more than a thousand years ago. There are several versions of its origin, but a common and obvious reason is that at that time, China peopleneeded something to protect them and give them happiness, health, blessing and prosperity. The eye dotting ceremony begins with the placement of the new costume lion dance in front of the altar. Instead, there is Kuan Yin, Sage Monkey (right) and Kuan Kung (right). Kuan Kung sitting on the side of the Green Dragon, "which represents the Pacific side and the wise monkey is sitting on the side of the White Tiger, which represents the warrior side.
You should be prepared to change tea and fruit pre-cool and replace the old. To invoke the gods, nine incense sticks are lit on the altar. From there, dotting the eye first. To do this, powdered cinnabar (Jee SA) soaked in water can be used. The drum is rolled gently under gong and tinkling cymbal. A master of the brush to soak bamboo Jee SA and begin to dot the lion.
The first part to be drilled, will be mirrored on the front of the lion's head, this is known as the "third eye", followed by the nose so that he could breathe and then inside of the mouth, ears, eyes, head, neck, body, tail and finally the legs.
