The Snorkeling Adventure In The Waters Of Sipadan

The article on why the Sipadan has become so popular among divers and snorkelers alike.
The waters around the beautiful Malaysian island of Sipadan are appointed teeming with marine life in all shapes and sizes. If you are looking for sharks, turtles, barracudas, eels and reef fish of every size and shape, the island has it all.
Most people who want to explore this wonderful world of exotic undersea usually choose to dive, using scuba gear complete with oxygen tanks and wetsuit. This allows them to explore the deeper parts, and maybe even some underwater caves hidden in a significant depth. Some, however, simply choose the snorkeling.
The diving is very popular in Sipadan, especially for non-divers. The equipment used most often is simply a diving mask, fins and a tube of 30 cm in length (called "snorkeling") used to breathe. If the water temperature is too low, some may choose to wear a wetsuit as well.
Although a minor inconvenience for snorkeling - you only to investigate the shallow waters, but also has many advantages. First, because not all the heavy equipment needed for diving snorkeler has more mobility and is able to identify fish and other sea creatures can be more divers. As a small piece of the snorkel is not allowed to dive to a depth of a few centimeters below the surface, the currents in some places may actually pose a threat. Inexperienced swimmers should pay particular attention to these places and try to avoid the currents.
The snorkeling is considerably cheaper than diving. Not only the equipment is less expensive, but there are some tour operators who regularly dive snorkelling around the island in all-inclusive price of less than RM 500 (about $ 170) per person.
Perhaps the most significant advantages of snorkeling in the waters of Sipadan is that it is so easy to do. Almost anyone can practice it can swim as long, and is 100% fun and exciting experience, even if you do not have the depth that a diver can.
