We believe that Cape Town has some of the best beaches in the world.
You can choose beaches which are on the Indian Ocean with warm water, or those on the cold Atlantic Ocean. Neither side is far removed from others, to travel between the two is easy by road or rail. Most beaches that stretch along the coastline are long with white sand. Some of the beaches like Muizenberg you'll find lifeguards, so they are safe to surf from.Other beaches, Boulders Beach, you will find many animals. Boulders on the beach is the African penguins that live there. Be careful, they can be rather smelly and they do bite if you're too close to them, but do not let that stop you diving into the water to swim with them. The penguins appear very tolerant of their fellow humans, and swimmers are very happy to live in harmony with us Face it, where can you get such an experience? Seals and fish life abound, which in turn brings the bird life.
The African Pelicans seem to like to visit during the evening time at dusk, staying all night on the sand just above the water. It's almost like they come from a night or weekend. Of course, as at the Hilton them.Other visitors we like to see on our lagoon are the Egrets, herons and oystercatchers. Wonderful wading birds, all with their own characteristics that you could sit and watch all day long, just wading up and down, their flirty dances to attract fish, or at least confuse the fish sufficiently for the bird suddenly plunging her head and peck the fish straight out of the water and into the esophagus.
Beaches with facilities, life and people, the beaches, with nothing but birds. The choice is yours. Often you can find beaches not far from the bustle and find a single soul in him, things really a desert island.
Breathtaking scenery is the norm in the beaches of Cape Town. Think of the bay of Cape Town with a flat top mountain in the background. The whole bay is, in fact, a long sandy beach, stetching miles around Table Bay.
The next time you're thinking about taking a beach vacation, take a look at Cape Town - you will not be disappointed.
While sitting on the back porch of the house, we constantly see the most common birds such as Turns, Black-backed gulls, cormorants, but with great enthusiasm happens when the African Pelicans come to visit. Huge jumbo jets of birds, serenely floating along the QE2 in full sail
