What Is Qi? (How To Get More Energy)

This is one of the most common ... ... China's demand ... and is not an easy question to answer. Qi ... "Chi" and ... spelled "chi") is probably the most ... Lala and is one of the most common questions Americans ask about Chinese medicine, not an easy question to answer. Qi (pronounced "chee" and sometimes spelled "chi") is probably the most important and most controversial of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Biomedicine often feels he can dismiss all or part of TCM to say that modern science can not verify the existence of qi. The idea that qi is an "energy", as electricity has exacerbated the controversy.
Is Qi energy?
Some TCM practitioners say that Qi is the "energy". It's not bad for an explanation. But do not go thinking that we believe that there are circuits that pass through your body, some researchers (Kendall and Paul Unschuld) argues that the idea of ??qi as "energy" was a mistranslation Chinese.
What is it?
What is the basis of TCM ontology ("what is"), Qi is one of the four basic ingredients of the body:
Sang Qi Yin Yang (Yin and blood are important, the yin and yang qi are functional is cold, yang is hot)
Consider this convenient motor car analogy: Yin is water from the radiator to cool the engine, the blood is oil, Qi is the force that moves the pistons and the engine can be told in a state of yang in operation . Perhaps the explosion itself is yang, while the force of the explosion is the qi. We can also say that the gas contains a qi that are not yet exploited.
(In the real character Chinese word Qi is the steam rising from a pot of rice. I hope that the logical explanation of ancient China, as it does not do much for me to be fair to the ancient Chinese, we can think of steam from rice, which is less extensive, more yang than rice itself, but still ...)
What no Qi?
Another way to understand things in their absence (defined as the absence of light darkness). Without adequate qi,
* Gastro-intestinal system may break the food, or transportation of other nutrients the body * you can easily fatigued, and tired legs * lost appetite * are * heavy you may wake up often at night, because you need to urinate * Academic / organization idea is difficult or impossible for * All have a higher (not can not "digest" what's going on) * you tend to worry (emotional component - TCM is a holistic medicine which makes no distinction between body and mind ) How can I get more qi?
Good nutrition goes a long way. TCM dietary principles are too complex to cover here (I have to say that it is surprising to many patients, perhaps because vegetarianism is thought to be synonymous with alternative medicine, TCM advocates the consumption of meat and cooked food especially). Herbs that increase the qi ginseng include, and activities that drain the qi codonopsis.Avoid - Be realistic about your energy costs by living a balanced life, not to be too sedentary or active too. If you are a couch potato, the Qi can not flow without exercise. If you are a personality type, relax and escape is not too early in life - may live to regret
