"China is crucial to move to North Korea in a radically different direction," he said.
In separate telephone conversations with South Korean President Lee Myung-bak on Wednesday, Obama called for cooperation with China, while Japanese Prime Minister Kan urged Beijing seems harsh attitude toward the North and the British prime minister said he would ask the China join forces to get Pyongyang to change its behavior.
Beijing is considered to have greater influence over Pyongyang than any other country as the first provider of this poor country of food and energy aid and diplomatic support. But to convince Beijing of using the influence has been as difficult as persuading Pyongyang to stop its bad behavior
