Alabama Gulf Coast Beach Music Hits The Right Note

From local favorites to national headliners are steps along the Alabama Gulf Coast this summer with sizzling musical entertainment. A free concert at Lulu start the summer on the weekend of Memorial Day, and the top-level acts at the Amphitheatre at the dock keeps the pace throughout the summer. Between the two, making the city of Gulf Shores sure the music never stops.
Something on the beach and music go hand in hand. Maybe it's the natural melody of the waves, the waves crashing rhythmic pulse white crystal grains near the hay to keep warm winds swept through time in the Gulf of Mexico. Perhaps it is foolish in the eyes of seabird watching the ebb and flow of the tide on Alabama Gulf Coast beach, waiting to spy some of the flash that is the highest of comedy tragedy of birds in awkward movements. Maybe it's a primal instinct of visitors drawn water and sand and creatures, some as old as the Persian Gulf itself.
Whatever the cause of this plot, this symbiotic relationship, the impact of concerts, concerts and more concerts. Well-known local favorite superstars, Orange Beach and Gulf Shores are ready to receive music lovers of all ages and all genres.
Out and the series A in Gulf Shores is a series of free events to 7 pm Thursday in the H. Erie Meyer Civic Center, corner of West 19th Avenue and West 22nd Street. "Out" exhibition will take place in the backyard amphitheater, and customers are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs. "In" shows are held at the Civic Center. Sometimes "a" is "in", according to the weather.
Among the options for the next few months are the performances by Eric Marrero and Banda military veteran, who is the city's Web site says, "plays the saxophone guitar, keyboards and trumpet (and) sing the hits sound their best-known artist , Louis Armstrong, Jimmy Buffet, "and Cool Change, a quartet performing group visits in 1950 to the present day.
Two highlights of the series is sure to be the city in July fireworks from the 4th (you guessed it, an "out" event) and a concert favorite neighborhood Burns, Brent, who is often compared with the Buffet above. Burns is a philanthropist and an interpreter, and "Building a house" benefits Habitat for Humanity.
Burns is a frequent performer LuLu, a local "home port", owned and operated by the sister of Buffet. Lulu, who is also known as Lucy, Buffet, also supports many charitable causes, particularly the local public school system. He is also a tireless ambassador for the entire beach, and is happy to visitors in the summer of free music weekend. This Memorial Day Lineup includes Sonny Landreth LuLupalooza year (regular guest member of Jimmy Buffett's band, which is also performed by Mark Knopfler , John Hiatt, Eric Clapton and Dolly Parton mm), Wes Loper, (Alabama Gulf Coast native, and Lulu is a crowd favorite) and Kristin Diable (native of Louisiana who took the storm in the Big Apple).
Music starts at 11 am Sunday, May 24 - the perfect way to be ready in summer.
Of course, everything is hotter on the beach, and this applies to music too. Case in point is Pepsi Star Concert Series at the Amphitheater at the dock. The amphitheater is a 10,000-seat facility with bleachers large screens on either side of the stage, so that nobody misses a minute of action. Top-of-the-line activities, including Earth, Wind & Fire, Sugar Land, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Kenny Chesney and Miranda Lambert are reserved for summer 2009, adding a little spice to the surf and sand.
Be sure to plan extra time before the concert of your choice to find the stores in the spring, to visit some of the restaurants or ride on the Ferris wheel.
If your idea of ??creating a development is to ensure that your iPod is fully charged, you have nothing to worry about vacation time. The music player, the surf is stirring and the beach is calling.
