The Nature Of Travel To Cuba - Soroa Orchid Garden And Waterfall
Explore the Orchid Garden and impressive waterfall Soroa, Cuba, only a short trip from Havana, Cuba.
Cuba is famous for its nature, its green landscapes, and its dense, unspoiled places, but there is a place of particular note of exotic deep green and the spectrum of the Sierra del Rosario. This mountain range extends from 25 000 hectares in the western Cuban province of Pinar del Rio and Havana. This is one of the biosphere reserves in Cuba and declared by UNESCO. Together with the Sierra de los Organos (located in Viales), was considered the oldest and historically uninhabited island because of its wild nature and the difficult climatic conditions (hot sun and the shadow of a relatively cold, too wet and rainy throughout the year). The garden has a collection of 250 orchids endemic to the island and over 700 from around the world, with many species of exotic plants that grow here, thanks to the local climate.
