There are a lot of history and information out there compared to the history and origins of mountain biking, with some being recognized and some that depends on who has the best public relations firm.
Mountain biking is a popular sport and a great way to exercise, but most of all, mountain biking is a lifestyle. The bikes have very specific characteristics in designing off-road terrain. Mountain biking skills requires strength, endurance and cycling.
