Donostia-San Sebastian Beach And Attractions

Donostia (or the more common name, San Sebastian), means in Basque Euskera, which is an ancient language whose origin is unknown, although nearly 35% of local residents to speak that language. The Donostiarra, or the inhabitants of San Sebastian, Euskadi use and Castellano, which is double sign language in the Basque Country.
Resort
San Sebastian is known as the no-wrong queen of Basque resorts, fashionable resorts of La Concha Bay, the right of the Committee system. The beach is beautifully surrounded by lush hills with sparkling Bay Waters, who has attracted many celebrities and sun worshipers during the winters and fierce summers. You can enjoy the beautiful bay and the beautiful beach, which is the lowest in half a day, why the local swim around the island and return to the boat instead.
The crowds are expected during the months of July and August, when pushed down the multitude of visitors, especially in mid-August when Big Week celebrations light up. There will be music and activities such as sports and fireworks, culminating in an impressive candlelight ceremony August 31 in commemoration of the burning of San Sebastian in 1813.
Attractions
Zurriola Bridge or the bridge of the Kursaal has beautiful original designs futuristic lamps illuminating the mouth Urumea in place of the old Kursaal Casino. The casino was closed because of the rules to ban the game that came out in 1924, and the building was reopened as the mayor of San Sebastian, which was considered as an important milestone in this city since 1897.
San Sebastian has three beaches, namely Ondaretta, Playa de Gros and La Concha La Concha is the best because it has a crescent-shaped beach of sand around the bay, which attracts more tourists. Ondaretta beach to see fewer tourists than the Concha, but it is so beautiful and is a favorite swimming bay of the three.
La Concha Beach is a party and show a lot of bikinis, with locals is called diplomacy to recognize the group aristocracy Madrid on holiday there. Playa de Gros rarely see a lot of tourists, as is dirty rivers tend to pollute the beach there.
Gastronomy
A good place for food and drinks would be the old town with many bars and restaurants on the promenade along the narrow cobblestone streets that fill the air with noise and celebration. Tapas are abundant with layers of traders fishing port for the day off.
Night life
The nightlife is very satisfying of bars and clubs available, some of the best deals on the waterfront, where the budget for a bohemian crowd awaits in Reyes Catolicos, which is located at the rear of the Baroque cathedral.
